Before you book in Delhi

  • Air pollution in Delhi can be extremely hazardous and is usually worst in winter. If you're travelling then, check the air quality and limit time outdoors on bad days.
  • Use taxis from your hotel, an official stand or a trusted ride app, and at the airport use official or prepaid taxis. Overcharging is common, so insist on the meter or agree the fare first.
  • Canadians need a visa for India, and must fill in the e-Arrival Card online within 72 hours before arriving.
