Disney's most visited park, with Cinderella Castle, classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion, and newer ones like TRON Lightcycle / Run and Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

2. EPCOT
Two parks in one: World Nature (Soarin' Across America, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush) and World Showcase, a walk around 11 country pavilions with rides like Frozen Ever After and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure.

3. Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure
Two movie and adventure parks next to each other. Universal Studios Florida is built around film and TV; Islands of Adventure is known for its coasters and themed lands.

- Typical September hours are 9 or 10 a.m. to 8 or 9 p.m., but Universal Studios Florida closes early on Halloween Horror Nights event nights. Check the Universal app for your date

- Universal Orlando sits at the north end of International Drive. Official Universal hotels offer free resort transportation
- Tip
- Date-based pricing, and Universal's 2026 multi-day tickets can include Epic Universe. Visit Orlando says park visits don't need a reservation, but you need a ticket for a set start date.
- Muslim-friendly
- We could not confirm a halal meal programme at Universal. Bring a plan for meals or check with guest services.
4. Universal Epic Universe
Universal's newest park (opened May 22, 2025) with five worlds, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk.

- It is a separate site near the Orange County Convention Center, east of Universal Boulevard. It is not next to the other two Universal parks

- Date-based pricing, and the ticket start date matters. It can reach capacity on busy days, so arrive at opening. Photo ID is needed to enter.
5. SeaWorld Orlando
A marine-life theme park with coasters, shows and animal habitats. The I-Ride trolley's Red Line goes to SeaWorld.

- The promo price is for tickets bought online and is open to residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada. Tickets are nonrefundable, but SeaWorld lets you change the date for free by calling 407-545-5550. All-Day Dining is an add-on for US$40.
6. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
NASA's launch site on Florida's Space Coast. Admission includes the bus tour and the rocket exhibits. It is a full day away from Orlando's parks.

- Arrive at opening and take the bus tour first, because the last bus tour leaves 2.5 hours before closing. A 2-day ticket is US$91 adult.
7. Disney Springs
A free, open-air shopping and dining area at Walt Disney World with more than 150 shops, restaurants and activities in four neighbourhoods. A good rest-day or evening stop without a park ticket.

8. ICON Park
An entertainment centre on International Drive with The Orlando Eye observation wheel (about a 20-minute ride), Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE Aquarium and the Museum of Illusions.
