Before you book in Bangkok

  • From Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Airport Rail Link takes about 26 minutes and costs ฿45 to Phaya Thai, where it connects to the BTS. Trains run 5:30 a.m. to midnight, and contactless cards have been accepted since December 2025.
  • Complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before you arrive. The official site says to submit it 3 days ahead.
  • Express boats on the Chao Phraya run Monday to Friday only. The blue tourist boat costs ฿40 per trip or ฿150 for a day pass and runs roughly 8:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
